Best practices for screen recordings:
Increase size of mouse pointer
Activate focus mode / deactivate notifications
Hide bookmarks bar in browser to have a cleaner UI
Make browser full screen (green dot on the top left corner)
Choose the environment with the clearer data and overview
Click thought the whole at least once before starting the screen recording
Record video via MacOS recording tool
Press: SHIFT + CMD + 5 at the same time
Click on the icon on the right "Record selected portion"
Select the window you want to record (I always tried to only select the browser without the dock)
If done, let pointer stay in the middle for aprox 10 seconds. (Otherwise, the user would get distracted by the YouTube recommended video section.)
Click on stop icon in the menu bar

Trim the video with QuickView
Files needs to be selected in Finder
Press the Spacebar
Click on the trim icon in the top right
Trim to you liking
Click on done

Log into Google Account [email protected]
Open YouTube
Navigate to Your videos
Click on Create in the top right corner
Click on Upload videos

Click on Select files
Select the previously recorded video
Copy over the article title
Copy over the article description
If a thumbnail was already designed by designer then upload thumbnail (you should do that, as it looks soooo much more professional with a branded thumbnail)
Select playlist Helpcenter articles
Select No, it's not "Made for Kids"
Click on Next
Click on Next
Click on Next
Select Unlisted
Click on Save
Copy the URL
βSelect embed video in Intercom
Paste the YouTube URL
