How can customers pay invoices via the customer portal?

Do you wonder how paying an invoice via the customer portal looks like for a customer? In this article, we show you exactly this!

Before paying the invoice:

  • “Your open invoices” section: this section is visible and highlighted via a red border

  • “Your payment methods” section: Since this customer hasn't used an attachable payment method before, the section is empty

  • “Your invoice history” section: the invoice has status “Open”

After paying the invoice

  • “Your open invoices” section: not visible any more

  • “Your payment methods” section: used payment method is now displayed

  • “Your invoice history” section: the invoice has status “Paid”
