In this article, we tackle the topic unit availability and unit status. A unit can have one out of six status. The status are listed and explained in the table you find below.
Vacant | unit not in use | ready to be rented out |
Reserved | unit will be in use | linked with a scheduled booking |
Rented | unit is in use | linked with an active booking |
To check | unit was in use | linked with recently canceled booking |
Maintenance | unit not ready for use |

Fully automated unit status flow
We installed an automated flow in our platform. So that you don't need to think about allocating and deallocating units. Everything is automated. You can find a simplified version of our flow below.
You can control some status manually. When the unit is assigned to a booking allocated to a customer, its status will change together with the booking status.

Navigate to Units
Click on the desired unit
Click on Actions button in the top right corner
