Kinnovis allows operators to manage both recurring products (e.g., protection plans) and one-time products within customer bookings. This provides flexibility in adjusting charges and ensuring accurate billing.

Adding or Removing Recurring Products

You can add or remove recurring products from an active booking, just like protection plans. These changes will be reflected in future invoices.

How to Add or Remove a Recurring Product

  1. Navigate to the Bookings section.

  2. Select the active booking you want to modify.

  3. Find the Actions > Adjust Booking section.

  4. Click Add Recurring Product to include a new recurring item, or click Remove next to an existing product. You can also adjust the quantity by editing the number.

  5. Confirm your changes.

πŸ“Œ Note: Changes to recurring products will affect the next invoice but won’t modify past invoices. Learn more about how to adjust a booking and it's implications here.

Managing One-Time Products for Scheduled Bookings

Operators can add or adjust the quantity of one-time products for a scheduled booking before the booking starts. These products will be displayed in:

How to Add or Adjust One-Time Products

  1. Go to the Bookings section.

  2. Select the scheduled booking you want to update.

  3. Locate the Actions > Adjust Booking section.

  4. Click Add One-Time Product to include a new item or adjust the quantity of an existing one.

  5. Save your changes.

πŸ“Œ Important: Once the booking starts and the first invoice is paid, one-time products will no longer be displayed in the overview.

Charging for a One-Time Product After the Booking Has Started

If an operator needs to charge for a one-time product after the booking has started:

  1. Navigate to the Invoices section.

  2. Create a new invoice and add the product as a separate charge.

  3. Issue the invoice to the customer.

Summary

  • Recurring products can be added or removed from active bookings and will be reflected in future invoices.

  • One-time products can be added or adjusted for scheduled bookings but disappear from the overview once the booking starts.

  • To charge for a one-time product after the booking starts, a new invoice must be created manually.

This process ensures accurate billing while maintaining flexibility. πŸš€
