How to add your imprint and privacy policies links to your Booking and Customer Portals

In today's digital age, ensuring compliance with legal requirements regarding privacy policies and transparency is crucial for businesses. Adding your imprint and privacy policies links to your website, Booking and Customer portals not only enhances transparency but also helps you meet legal obligations.

Case A: You have one imprint and data privacy link for all your locations

If you have a company-wide imprint page and data privacy link for all your locations, you have to complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to your account in the Manager.

  2. Navigate to the "Booking Portal" > "Global Settings".

  3. Paste the links to your imprint and privacy policies in the "General" section.

These links will be shown in your Booking and Customer Portal, as well as on the login page of your Customer Portal.

Note: You do not have to add links to the location settings separately. The general imprint and data privacy links will be shown for all locations.

Case B: You have different imprints and privacy policies for different locations and/or non-location specific links for your customer portal login page

Adding the links to your location specific Booking and Customer Portals:

  1. Log in to your account in the Manager.

  2. Navigate to the "Booking Portal" > "Location Settings" and select a location.

  3. Paste the URLs to your imprint and privacy policies, specific to your location if applicable, in the "Consents" section.

Adding the URL links to your Customer Portal ("log-in") page:

You might have different privacy policies and imprint links that are related to specific locations. You have the possibility to add your non-location specific imprint and data privacy policy links on your Customer Portal's login page, go to "Booking Portal" > "Global Settings". Add the privacy policy URL and imprint URL to this section.

Test your links on the Booking Portal & Customer Portal

  1. Scroll down to the bottom of your Booking Portal and Customer Portal and click on the links. See if they open the desired websites and correct links.

  2. Go to the login page of your Customer Portal and check if the links direct you to the indented places.
