Customising Unit Type Images

Customising images of your unit types shown in the Booking Portal allows you to visually represent your storage units, making it easier for customers to understand their size and purpose. By selecting images from an existing library, you can communicate the storage type, the unit size and items that fit. This not only makes the Booking Portal more customisable and visually appealing, but also enhances your customers' understanding, helping them make informed decisions and improving their overall experience.

How to Change Unit Images in the Booking Portal

1. Go to Kinnovis Manager and navigate to the "Unit Types" tab.

2. Select the unit type you want to add an image for.

3. Click on the pencil icon to edit the unit type image.

4. Browse through the image library and select an image you want to show for this unit type in the booking portal. Choose an image from the following predefined categories:

  • Units

  • Container

  • Garage

  • Parking

  • Archive

  • Locker

Note: The image description shows the size range (e.g. 11-15 m²) of the unit image and gives an idea of what items can fit within that size category.

5. After selecting an image from the available library, click on save to apply the change. The new image will be updated immediately on the booking portal.

6. Review the new image on the booking portal.

Here is an example:

Default Image: If no image has been selected for a unit type, the default image currently used on the booking portal will remain in place.

Background colour: The background colour is the secondary colour of your Booking Portal Colour Palette. Find more information here how to change the colour.

🏁 Congratulations, you successfully customised images on your Booking Portal.
